The Madre community continuously puts out unique and exciting cocktail creations using Madre Mezcal. 

 

Try some for yourself. Sip slowly & live fully. 

‘BLACK POWDER’ BY ANU SHUKLA

INGREDIENTS:

 

+ 1 oz Madre Mezcal
+ 1 oz Apple Brandy
+ 1 tsp Grade-A Maple Syrup
+ 0.5 tsp Allspice Dram
+ 1 dash Orange Bitters
+ 1 dash Angostura bitters

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

+ Stir & chill with ice.

+ Strain over large format ice in a Double Old Fashioned (DOF) glass.

 

‘BEELZEBUB’ BY @62NDCOCKTAILS

INGREDIENTS:

 

+ 0.5 oz Madre Mezcal

+ 1.5 oz Bourbon
+ 0.5 oz Amaro Lucano
+ 0.5 oz Orgeat
+ 0.75 oz Lemon Juice

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

+ Shake & strain into a cocktail glass.

+ Garnish with nutmeg powder.

 

'JUNGLE FEVER' BY THOMAS KATER FROM KINGS CO. IMPERIAL

INGREDIENTS: 

 

+ 0.75 oz Madre Mezcal

+ 1 oz Reposado Tequila 

+ 0.75 oz Grilled Pineapple Juice*
+ 0.5 oz Lime Juice
+ 0.5 oz Agave Syrup
+ 3 dashes of Chili Tincture

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

+ Shake & strain into a cocktail glass with fresh ice.

+ Garnish with pineapple-cinnamon salt rim.

 

* Grilled Pineapple Juice: Grill some slices of pineapple until charred and caramelized then blend - skin and all. The leftover dry pulp can be dehydrated and blended into a powder for the pineapple salt rim.

INGREDIENTS: 

 

+ 0.75 oz Madre Mezcal Espadin

+ 0.75 oz Tequila Blanco

+ 0.50 oz Salers Aperitif
+ 0.75 oz Lemon Juice
+ 1 oz Blood Orange Syrup

+ 2 pipettes of Habanero Tincture

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

+ Shake & strain into a cocktail glass with fresh ice.

+ Garnish with blood orange, brandied cherry, and mint bouquet.

 

'DESERT PEAR' BY MIKE VANDER HORN

INGREDIENTS: 

 

+ 1 oz Madre Mezcal Ensamble

+ 1 oz Sotol 

+ 0.25 oz Spiced Pear Liqueur
+ 0.25 oz Luxardo Bitter Bianco
+ 0.5 oz Pear Syrup

+ 1 dash Scrappy's Celery Bitters

+ 1 dash Angostura Bitters

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

+ Stir & strain into a cocktail glass with fresh ice.

+ Express an orange peel overtop and garnish with a twist and pear.
