WHY IS THE BRAND CALLED MADRE?
Madre is Mother Earth. As a spirit made within the earth, the name Madre is a tribute to that which provides us with the agave plants, the minerals in the earthen oven, and the wild yeast blowing in the wind.
WHAT DO THE MADRE LOGOS MEAN?
Madre offers a natural spirit crafted from the earth. A kind of homage to the mother earth that fosters such a unique gift, each label carries a distinct icon as a depiction of the spirit’s connection to the earth. A representation of balance between earth and its offerings, as well as, humans and our obligation as stewards of the land.
WHAT YEAR DID MADRE GET STARTED?
The first plastic bottles with the words Madre on them were first brought to the USA in 2014, and the first glass bottles with a printed Madre label were sold in 2018.
WHO FOUNDED THE COMPANY?
The company, Madre Mezcal, was formally founded in May 2016 by Tony Farfalla, Stefan Wigand, Chris Stephenson and Davide Berruto.
WHERE IS MADRE BASED?
Madre’s office is based in Los Angeles. All our mezcal is produced by independently owned family palenques (distilleries) in Oaxaca, Mexico.

Shipping Policy

➔ Orders are fulfilled within the continental US only.

➔ We cannot ship to PO Boxes.

➔ Orders are fulfilled in 3–5 days. Standard delivery takes an additional 3–8 business days depending on location.

➔ Your order will be delivered to your door. Orders containing alcohol require an adult signature and ID verification upon delivery.

Who will ship my product?
Your order is shipped by a third-party partner (AccelPay's retailer network).

➔ Orders containing alcohol are fulfilled by licensed third-party retailers within the AccelPay network.

➔ Retailers may use carriers such as GLS and UPS.

➔ If your order includes both alcohol and merchandise, items will be shipped separately.
Refund Policy

Can I change my order?
Orders cannot be edited after being placed. To cancel, email support@accelpay.io before shipment.

Can I return my order?
Orders containing alcohol cannot be returned or exchanged. If you receive an incorrect item, contact support@accelpay.io.

Can I cancel my order?
Cancellation requests are accepted until the order is shipped. Requests are not guaranteed. Email support@accelpay.io.

Can I get a refund? Refunds are processed on a case-by-case basis. Please email a photo of the damaged or incorrect item to support@accelpay.io.

What happens if my order arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged, email us at support@accelpay.io with a photo. We will arrange a reshipment within 3 business days.

Delivery Standards

➔ Delivery Attempts: Up to three delivery attempts will be made.

➔ Undeliverable Package: After three failed attempts, the package is returned to the retailer. ➔ Recipient Responsibility:
◆ If a refund is requested, a $25 Undeliverable Package Fee will be deducted.
◆ Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
◆ If reshipment is requested, a $40 fee will be charged.
